The Bed and Breakfast Association

The Bed and Breakfast Association represents the many thousands of "Bed and Breakfasts" in the UK. These are mainly small-scale, owner-managed businesses based in the proprietors' own homes that are very important to the UK's tourism industry and to the visitor experience offered to both British tourists and visitors from abroad. The BBA is an independent, non profit-making organisation run by and for its members, with the following objectives: 1) To represent the interests of “bed & breakfast” owners in the UK, and to campaign on behalf of those interests; 2) To provide information and support services to “bed & breakfast” owners in the UK, to enable them to improve and develop their businesses; 3) To facilitate and enable the continuous professional development of the independent bed and breakfast sector in the UK, and promote best practice; 4) To promote to the public the advantages of staying in independent “bed and breakfast” accommodation.

The Camping and Caravanning Club

The Camping and Caravanning club was founded in 1901 and is the largest and longest established organisation for all forms of camping, representing over 400,000 members. It runs almost 100 multiple award-winning Club Sites in the UK and supports a network of over 1,200 Certificated Sites ? allowing tent camping and up to five caravans or motorhomes. The club runs an extensive network of Regional and District Associations and Special Interest Sections and organises hundreds of meets and events each year. It also has an overseas travel service, Carefree, which arranges overseas camping, caravanning, motorhome holidays, and ferry bookings.

Tourism for All

Tourism for All UK is a national registered charity which provides; information to people with disabilities and older people in relation to accessible accommodation and other tourism services; expertise and support to the tourism and hospitality sector to provide accessible services for all; a network for organisations and individuals who wish to support our objectives.

Tourism Management Institute

Tourism Management is defined as the activity of managing tourism in specific geographical locations for the economic, social and environmental benefit of the recipient business and residential communities. Hence, the focus of the TMI is on tourism destination management.

Tourism Society

The Tourism Society is an organisation for people working in tourism and travel, including educators and students, and others interested or involved in the visitor economy across all its sectors worldwide. Membership represents sectors such as attractions, hotels and other visitor accommodation, catering and hospitality, tour operators, transport and travel agents, among others and also links other people interested in travel and tourism such as architects, engineers, lawyers, surveyors and accountants. Established in 1977, we aim to enhance our members' professionalism, knowledge and understanding of the industry through events, publications and networking opportunities and to increase awareness of the economic, social and cultural benefits of tourism.

Tourism South East

TSE is a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to provide services and expertise that support the performance and growth of tourism businesses. We achieve this by working hard with others to deliver a range of relevant services and support programmes designed with our member businesses' and destination partners' needs in mind. We also make our expertise available to other clients in the South East and beyond on a paid-for basis. Activities include a full range of domestic and international marketing campaigns, PR and web promotions, highly respected training courses, research and visitor information services, networking opportunities and advocacy.


UKinbound is the only trade association that represents the UK's inbound tourism industry (the UK's 6th largest export industry and 3rd largest employer). Established in 1977, our purpose is to create business opportunities for our members and lobby Government to remove the barriers to growth. UKinbound represents a diverse membership of over 400 tourism businesses, including inbound tour operators, DMCs (Destination Management Companies), hoteliers and other accommodation providers, attractions, retailers, restaurateurs, transport providers and other suppliers who provide services for inbound tourists to the UK, both leisure and business travellers. For the majority of our members, their business is wholly, or to a significant extent, dependent on inbound tourism.

Visit Cornwall

VisitCornwall is the tourism service for Cornwall and undertakes the destination marketing and tourism development functions and promotes the areas distinctive qualities to the domestic market and key international markets. VisitCornwall is a part of Cornwall Development Company, the economic development service for Cornwall Council.

Visit Greenwich

Visit Greenwich is a not-for-profit, private led Destination Management Company for the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Working with over 120 partners, our aim is to grow the visitor economy and raise the profile of Greenwich for the benefit of local businesses, visitors and residents. We achieve this by providing expertise and a range of relevant services that support our partners? needs and destination?s growth. Activities include a range of marketing campaigns, PR and web promotions, training & recruitment, research & intelligence, travel trade, visitor information services and networking opportunities. We also make our expertise available to other clients in London and beyond on a paid-for basis.
