The 2009 Tourism Alliance Annual Report

The 2009 Annual Report reviews the Tourism Alliance's activities over the previous year including providing input to Conservative and Liberal Democrat tourism policies, re-establishing both an independent national tourist board for England and the Cross Whitehall Ministers’ group and, with VisitBritain, engaging Deloitte to undertake an analysis of the economic impact of tourism on the UK economy.

The 2005 Tourism Alliance Annual Report

2004/5 saw the Tourism Alliance restructure itself as a company limited by guarantee with a clear and strong mandate to lobby Government on key issues affecting the industry. The 2005 Annual Report reviews the organisation's activities over the past year, focusing on issues such as licensing, gambling, planning and visas. It then looks forward to the major issues on the horizon for the tourism industry in the forthcoming year.
